Why orientation matters in a shallow panel

The purpose of Hirschmann Angled wall mounting plate for DIN rail mounting, 40 mm Part Number 942177001 is to change how a compact DIN-rail device is presented to the panel. Check the actual device orientation on the layout so its connectors and indicators remain useful after installation.

With Hirschmann Angled wall mounting plate for DIN rail mounting, 40 mm Part Number 942177001, lateral mounting changes the cable approach as well as the housing position. Include connector bodies and cable bends when comparing the available panel space. The bare device width does not describe the full installed envelope.

The width limit is only one check

• Confirm an exact device width of 40 mm or less.
• Match the rail attachment to the device instructions.
• Check the wall fixing arrangement and access to the release mechanism.

Request Hirschmann Angled wall mounting plate for DIN rail mounting, 40 mm Part Number 942177001 for the specific SPIDER or other supported device being used. The family examples do not turn this accessory into a universal mount for every small Ethernet switch.

Keep the 40 mm reference on the purchase request for Hirschmann Angled wall mounting plate for DIN rail mounting, 40 mm Part Number 942177001. The related 70 mm version is a different catalog item, part number 942177002, and its suitability needs an independent mechanical comparison.

Fit and inspect before connecting the network

During installation of Hirschmann Angled wall mounting plate for DIN rail mounting, 40 mm Part Number 942177001, verify the attachment with the selected host and the manufacturer's mounting guidance. Avoid using Ethernet cables to support the device or to hold it in a position that the mounting assembly does not provide.

For quotation of Hirschmann Angled wall mounting plate for DIN rail mounting, 40 mm Part Number 942177001, include the host model, required count and a panel sketch when space is tight.
